Exoskeletons for Logistics
An exoskeleton is a supporting structure worn on the body that relieves strain on the musculoskeletal system during specific activities. We are a leading manufacturer of non-actuated systems that relieves workers in logistics.
Create your #ExoMoment
We will be present at Promat 23 with our exoskeletons. Besides a daily presentation, we offer 1-on-1 appointments to test our exoskeletons and talk to one of our ergonomic experts. For this, we ask you to request a demo upfront.

Support for your employees
“Our experiences with numerous customers have shown that absences in logistics can be reduced by around 25 percent with exoskeletons. In addition, there are other effects such as reduced fatigue and turnover, which means that investing in exoskeletons often pays for itself within the first nine to twelve months after their introduction.”
Dr. Soenke Roessing, CEO of Ottobock Bionic Exoskeletons
Ottobock BackX – Dynamic
The latest BackX exoskeleton is the perfect fit for moving loads manually while keeping a high level of flexibility: it reduces the load on the lower back when lifting objects by an average of 60 percent. At the same time, it allows a high degree of freedom of movement, for example, operating a forklift, working in tight spaces (containers), or climbing stairs.
Ottobock Back – Stationary
Ottobock Back was developed in collaboration with logistics experts and employees in warehousing and parcel distribution centers. The exoskeleton works according to a biomechanical principle: the load is taken off the lower back and transfered to the thighs with the help of the exoskeleton’s support structure. The energy storage absorbs force when bending and releases it again when lifting.Â
Ottobock Back provides significant support up to 55lbs
We look forward to creating your #ExoMoment at ProMat 2023.
